My Favorite Classical Piece
I admit it, I know very, very little about classical music, much to my husband's chagrin. He loves classical music, has season symphony tickets even, which I'm all too happy to send the kids along with him. I appreciate classical music for the creativity and talent it takes to both compose and play, I just don't enjoy it the way I do other musical genres. Since I already used my true favorite classical piece, Pachelbel's Canon in D for a previous post, I chose my second favorite classical piece. (Thankfully this list doesn't ask for many, because I can probably only name about ten.)
Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy is light and happy and makes me think of Christmas. I don't have any deep thoughts on what I think about when I hear it. I just like it for what it is.
